Dr. George W. Mephis(Georgi Mephisashvili) was born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. His genetic tree line descending from French Knights Templar’s visiting Georgian King - David the Builder and helping him to prepare new crusade to Holy Land. After Templar’s was outlawed in France they received properties from king securing the border land between Georgia and Turkey. Some historians believed, one time monastery of Vardzia was hiding place for Holly Grail. Georgians calling them - Sons of The King - Mephis Shvili. After it transformed to last name Mephisashvili.
From a very young age George showed great power and ability to cure people. He learned from his grandfather, a well known spiritual Teacher and Healer.
He studied at many secret spiritual schools and monasteries, from the Caucasus Mountains to the Central Asian desert, to the mountains of Tajikistan on the Afghan border. He has internalized and synthesized different healing techniques used by all these schools. At the same time, he studied medicine and psychology, and later based his doctoral work on the psychology of addiction. All this knowledge helped him to develop his own unique healing method, called the “Hypno-Energetic Movement”.
In 1977, Dr. Mephis opened a private healing practice. He showed an extraordinary capacity, for example, shrinking the size of breast tumors in experiments at clinics in Armenia and Georgia. He became widely known for working with cancer patients. At the same time, he developed special techniques to help people with drug and alcohol addictions to overcome their problems. Later on, he used the same method for smoking and food addictions.
In 1979, he started teaching in Georgia and Armenia. Then in 1981 he started practicing and teaching in Moscow and Lithuania. From 1981 to 1989 he led his students in life-enriching spiritual adventures in search of secret wisdom in the mountains of Georgia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Siberia, and at Buddhist monasteries in Buryatia on Lake Baikal. His ability to cure and influence people’s minds enabled him to avoid the reach of the Soviet Government, although at the time all spiritual activity was outlawed by communist party. People called Him The Miracle Maker. Dr. Mephis started lecturing “underground”, outside of normal channels. A few years later, when the number of his students and followers had increased and the social climate had eased, he legalized his organization under the name of “Association of Spiritual Revival and Harmonious Development”.
In 1989 he established the “Georgian Rescue Corp”, a rescue organization which became active after the Earthquake in Armenia (1989) and in Iran (1990). His work in Iran was presented by Georgian Medical Association on many symposiums connecting with disaster relief and post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSS) in the United States and world wide. When in 1990 the Georgian Rescue Corp, led by George Mephis crossed the border into Iran without permission of Moscow, the Soviet regime accused him of supporting Georgian independence. After two unsuccessful assassination attempts with obvious Russian secret service involvement, he was implored by his followers to leave the country.
In January 1991, Dr. Mephis immigrated to the United States. He established his practice first in New York City and Long Island. After in LA, Boston, Baltimor and Washington DC. Currently he practices in 5 states, Europe and Asia. Since he began working in the US, he has helped thousands of people to overcome their health problems, addictions and fears. Become successful in business, in public and personal life.
Late 1991 Georgian Rescue Corp with Mhedrioni(Horseman’s) overtake power in Georgia and in 1992 sponsored comeback of Mr. Eduard Shevardnadze - former foreign minister in Gorbachev’s government and future president of independent Georgia.
In 1991 George was a frequent guest on radio programs on the stations “Radio Liberty” and “Voice of America” , working together with Center for Democracy in USSR .
George W. Mephis has been profiled in “Washingtonian”, “Body and Soul”, “Women’s Health & Fitness”, “Pathways” “Health & Fitness”, “New York Spirit”, “Earth Star”, and many other magazines and newspapers.
In 1992, he appeared on the live talk show “Awareness Forum” on the California public access channel, where he introduced his method of healing and described his life journey. Later, he was presented in programs on WMNB, RTVI, RTN, NTV and other television networks.
In 1997 a documentary movie was created about Dr. Mephis by “Top Secret”- Sovershenno Sekretno, the most popular TV studio in Russia. This movie was then shown in Russia, Georgia, Armenia, and Israel, as well as in the United States .
In November 2009 and June 2010 Russian TV station broadcast same documentary under title - “Masons - who there are”. In this new addition they made some unauthorized changes mainly to aid anti-Georgian campaign run by Kremlin controlled media.
Dr. George Mephis long client list includes many politicians, businessman’s,famous artists and celebrity’s. He was long time friend and healer for Bobe Kane(Robert Kahn) - creator of Batman and his wife - actress Elizabeth Sanders Kane and many others. Same time his talents was highly worshiped by pupil from other side of the world . Jaba Ioseliani - writer, warlord and Vice President of Georgia dedicated few pages of his late book “Third Dimension” and called him -My Friend and Teacher. In many countries around the world he was honored for his Humanitarian Mission and Gods gifted Healing Power, Love and Wisdom, for his fight for the Democracy and The Justice.

Same time George Mephis holds 32nd Degree in Free Masonry and was Initiator for opening of many Lodges in East Europe.
George W. Mephis is The Fellow of American Psychotherapy Association and the member of American Board of Hypnotherapy.
He is consulting and teaching Alternative Health, Med Spa Development, Leadership and other topics including- Light Based Technology courses.
In 2006 he was named Businessman of the Year from state of New York by National Republican Congressional Committee and was appointed in to advisory board. Same year Wall Street Journal published list of the nominees. 2008 George Mephis is the member of National Republican Senatorial Committee.
